Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has given necessary instructions, including traffic advisory, and other directives, for visiting the Central Shaheed Minar, and to ensure peaceful observance of International Mother Language Day in the capital tomorrow.
The directive was given in a press release issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) yesterday.
“People must take the road in front of Palashi Crossing and Jagannath Hall to reach the central Shaheed Minar. On the day, there is no other option. To exit, take the road to Doel Chattar or the road to Ramna Chattar,” the release said.
The TSC-Shibbari Crossing, the VC Bhaban-Sculpture Crossing, the Bakshibazar-Jagannath Hall Crossing Road, and the Chankharpul-Ramna Chattar Crossing will all be closed.
From 6pm today to 2pm tomorrow, the intersections of Nilkhet, Palashi Mor, Fuller Road, Bakshibazar, Chankharpur, Shahidullah Hall, Doel Chattar, Gymnasium, Ramna Chattar, High Court, TSC Road, and Shahbagh will be closed.
