Russia’s message regarding relations with China

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that Sino-Russian relations will be strengthened in the current political situation. Russia’s state news agency Interfax was quoted as saying by the BBC on Saturday.

Lavrov said that while the Western world is shamelessly devaluing all the foundations of the international system, we, the two superpowers, must think of ways to keep pace with the world.

Meanwhile, Xi Jinping discussed the Ukraine war with Biden in a video call on Friday. The Chinese president has warned Biden on the Taiwan issue. He called on the United States to play a “correct role” in dealing with Taiwan.

On the other hand, Joe Biden has warned Xi Jinping that if China helps Russia to carry out brutal attacks on Ukrainian civilians, its effects and consequences will be worse.
