The Returning Officer said that while inspecting various centers in Comilla City Corporation elections, the presiding officer and the voters told him that the voting environment in this election was good and fair. No one was prevented from voting.

It started raining in Comilla around 9 in the morning. That disrupted the one-point vote. There have been allegations of slow voting due to EVMs in various centers throughout the day. Ruling party and opposition candidates have also spoken out.

Regarding the allegation of slow polling, the returning officer said that when the polling started, it started raining immediately. The pace of voting was fairly good after the rains. Three ballots must be cast in the City Corporation election. Voters often decide to go to the secret room of the booth. All in all, it may have taken some time.
